Summer of Code: Proposals Reminder

Mentoring a Summer of Code student is a great way to get new people involved in your area of the Mozilla project. So if you could use some help, and if you can think of a bite-size chunk of coding that a keen student could do over the summer, and that you’d be happy to supervise them in doing, please head over to the Brainstorming page and write it up.

In the past, we’ve had people working on a wide range of things, from core security code to unit tests, for almost every Mozilla-hosted project from Firefox to Rhino. If it means writing code or documentation, it’s suitable. If you’re not sure, contact me.
