Good thing we have that CLOSED status, eh?
The CLOSED status has been unavailable for use for new bugs on BMO for quite some time now. The bugs which are in that status are so for historical reasons. As you say, it didn’t add much for the way we work, so we stopped using it.
In other places, RESOLVED is done by the engineer, VERIFIED by the QA person, and CLOSED by the manager who is tracking issues with a customer.

Pretty high numbers still. I assume that those bugs are from our early years when people got auto-assigned to bugs, or?
Thanks for this fantastic piece. I truly enjoyed reading it and need
to state 1 thing – you are an amazing writer.
I don’t usually bookmark origin – that the last time I
did so was https://www.resellerratings.com/store/Essaypro_com. And that I do wish
to see more of one’s posts in my bookmarks. Thanks for your job,
have a fantastic day.
