There’s a peninsula at the top end of the Northern Beaches in Sydney, with a beach called Palm Beach. The tip of the peninsula has a hill, on which sits a now-disused lighthouse. Having climbed up to it, I came across the grave of the original lighthouse keeper. The inscription on his gravestone read:
All ye that come to my grave to see
Prepare in time to follow me.
Repent at once without delay
For I in haste was called away.
If I die a sudden death, put that on mine :-)
